The breathtaking outdoors and adventure of a lifetime.
The young men who come to Petty Creek Ranch will live in a beautiful custom-built cabin that is located on a property that borders Lolo National Forest, giving the young men in our care a chance to experience a simplified mountain lifestyle. With consistent views of the local herd of big horn sheep that live on the neighboring ridge, as well as frequent visits by deer and wild turkey, the enchanting and quiet rural atmosphere has been chosen to offer our boys a peaceful and serene setting while they focus on overcoming their own internal conflicts.
The facility itself is a family-sized home that contains a commercial kitchen, a game room with a billiard table, ping-pong and darts, as well as a school area and large day room where we hold group counseling sessions, daily prayer, and A.A. meetings. Nestled in a beautiful corner of Big Sky Country, our cabin gives the boys a rustic luxury and “back-to-basics” way of life in an environment that is ideal for self-reflection and personal growth. With terrace bedrooms overlooking the forest and babbling creek that runs through our grounds, your son will reconnect with nature as he occasionally glimpses moose, elk, and bighorn sheep grazing in the horse pasture.
Petty Creek Ranch also has a detached shop that serves as a vocational/technical training classroom where our clients learn valuable skills and trades. The boys also have access to a fitness room that contains free- weights and other exercise equipment.
